Striving to End Domestic Violence
In 2014, the most tragic crisis occurred to our family in Norfolk, VA. We all awakened to a horrific phone call that would play a major impact in our lives today. Our loved one was a victim and survivor of an attempted murder-suicide. As a family, we worked together to help her and her kids rebuild their lives. Her determination, will and the courage to live is what inspired us to form P.E.A.R.L.S of VA Inc. in Chesapeake, VA.
P.E.A.R.L.S of VA Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Chesapeake, VA, formed by five cousins, including the survivor, whose motivation was to join the movement to end domestic violence.
